Integrated with Leica Microsystems’ microscopes and LAS (Leica Application Suite) software, the Leica DFC290 HD digital camera with 3-megapixel standard resolution, produces fast, real-time, high-quality, full-color images for any application.

The camera offers dual output to a computer or directly to an imaging device that contains an HDMI interface such as flat screens, beamers or DVD recorders.

Image data is delivered at very high frame rates with little computing delay, so specimen manipulation can be done while viewing on an HD flat screen instead of through the microscope eyepieces.
