EZGel-0
This is an inexpensive meathod for Optimas users to analyze Nitro-Cellulose Assays.

EZGel-0 measures and records the intensities within the circular responce areas on dot blot assaay sheets. It relies on geometric information supplied by the user to draw the analysis areas. This overcomes the problems thresholding can have when attempting to locate negative responce blots and the problems associated with misaligned samples.

EZGel-0 save all intensity data in an EXCEL spreadsheet by using the Windows DDE protocol to control EXCEL. EZGel-0 starts EXCEL, opens a template file, fills in the new data, saves the spreadsheet, and even prints the spreadsheet if the user requests.
