Intima is an Optimas/Optimate routine which collects the required information researchers need to calculate the Percent Intimal Stenosis in blood vessels.
This macro performs the following functions:
- Measures user defined blood vessels
- Interactively locates, counts, and measures endothelium, internal elastic lamina, and external elastic lamina
- Calculates lumen, intima, and media
- Calculates percent stenosis, and intima/media ratio
All data can be saved in a tab-delimited ASCII data file suitable for use
with EXCEL and many other software packages. Images can be aquired using PathScan
Enabler.
