1Dscan EX analyzes 1D gels and blots, and performs band densitometry, concentration measurement, and molecular weight determination. It offers three modes of analysis: (1) lane profile / peak area analysis, (2) area-density densitometry, and (3) counting and measuring of colonies or objects. Investigators will find 1Dscan EX useful for analyzing autorads, chemiluminescence and fluorescence in northern, southern and western blots, DNA and protein gels, slot blots and dot blots.

The 1Dscan EX software is built upon the IPLab/Windows program, and offers a simple user interface, advanced camera support, and powerful measurement and automated analysis features.
