Gene Profiler is a complete software package that uses automatic lane and peak finding to detect the presence of bands in a gel or blot, and calibrate them for size and intensity.

By using calibration markers in each gel electrophoresis run, Gene Profiler can automatically calculate the molecular weight (Mr), isoelectric point (pI) and concentration values of any DNA fragment or polypeptide band detected. Furthermore, the sophisticated software module is capable of correcting and analyzing distorted gel images (lanes that slant, curve or smile), ensuring the highest degree of accuracy possible.
