The Leica SM 2000 R sliding microtomes are designed for the sectioning
of large paraffin embedded samples in the routine laboratory. |
Functional and operational details have been developed from customer
feedback to optimally suit customer requirements. The Leica SM 2000 R microtomes
are designed for thin sectioning in a range of 1-60µm. This sliding
microtome includes cross roller bearings which ensures smoothness and precision
without affecting stability.
- Designed for LARGE specimens, ideal for brain sections
- Maximum specimen size 80 x 60 mm
- Totally enclosed micrometer feed
- Integrated orienting fixed-jaw specimen clamp
- Integrated knife holder for standard knives and disposable blade holders,
with safety guard
- Section thickness adjustable from 1 to 60 um
- Vertically installed guide rollers prevent debris from entering the
roller bearings
- Automatic advance between 0 and 30 um
- High precision feed mechanism, total range 40 mm
- Complete range of accessories to suit a variety of sectioning requirements
