Next select a set of measurements. The Optimas measurement list includes hundreds of measurements and even lets you define your own. Pre-defined measurement sets are available for particle counting, object classification, densitometry, gauging, critical dimension measurement, object tracking, and more.

When you're ready, export the measurements to an ASCII file or send them directly to Microsoft Excel. Optimas includes built-in report generation, so you can view a report of your data as you're collecting it.

You'll find tools for creating custom image processing and measurement routines, commands for communication and device control, all of the mathematical operators normally found in C PLus high level vector, matrix, and frequency domain mathematics. For controlling other Windows programs and libraries you will find commands for Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), Object Linking and Embedding (OLE), and calling functions in Dynamic Link Libraries (DLL).To get a head start on application development you can cut and paste functions from libraries of macro source code that are included with Optimas. Or you can select any macro command name and jump to on-line help.
