DEI-470 and DEI-470T

Microsope Video Cameras with Built-in Digital Imaging
[Specifications] [Samples Images]

Digital Edge Sharpening convolution filter operates in real-time to expand the finedetails of soft-focus or low contrast images. The unique filter enhances video prints andcomputer images to more closely resemble the subjects as viewed in the microscope oculars.

Digital Contrast & Brightness Enhancement enable control of video gain and offset toimprove dim, low contrast images due to fading and weak fluorochrome emissions.

The Video System Controller contains a built-in 1.5 megabyte 24 bit frame grobber to allowfreeze frame imaging. No external microprocessor is required. The controller is preprogrammed to withstand the rigors of a multi-user environment.

Extended Sensitivity for Imaging of all Microscope Techniques

On-Chip Integration permits exposure from 1/10,000 to 4 seconds for the DEI-470 and upto 2 minutes for the DEI-470T. This exposure system operates manually or automatically toaccurately display samples ranging in illumination from dim fluorescence to normalbrightfield viewings.

The DEI-470T remote camera head produces extremely low dark current to provide true8-bit dynamic range by utilizing a Thermoelectrically (Peitier) Cooled CCD.

Cooling to 37°C below ambient temperature allows display of noise-free images which are beyond human vision.
