ProPalette
7000 Film Recorder
from Meyer Instruments

The power of a professional film recorder, at
a price for every presenter.
Now you can have the power and productivity of a professional-level color film recorder -- at the highly affordable price of a desktop model. The Polaroid ProPalette 7000 Color Film Recorder uses many of the technological innovations found within Polaroid's advanced professional model, the ProPalette 8000.
That means you get the sharpest 4000-line 35mm slides available from a desktop color film recorder. And by reducing your outside costs for imaging slides, the ProPalette 7000 also pays for itself quickly -- often within the first year! Fast, easy-to-use, innovative and fully-supported around the world -- these have been the trademarks of Polaroid color film recorders since we first introduced them in 1983.
The ProPalette 7000 is an ideal color film recorder for creating virtually any 35mm slide presentation -- for audio-visual service providers as well as individual presenters. Teachers, trainers, physicians, researchers, administrators or business people -- anyone who presents with 35mm slides can produce their work at the desktop, quickly and economically.
With its rapid "light on film" image speed, the ProPalette 7000 tailor-made for high-volume, quick turnaround environments - such as healthcare facilities, research and scientific organizations, educational institutions, government agencies and business environments.
Service bureau-quality 35mm slides in just minutes, at your desk.
The ProPalette 7000 is the only desktop color film recorder with a high-resolution 7-inch CRT and custom optics, ensuring super-small "spot size" and the sharpest image clarity among film recorders. It produces professional-quality 35mm slides at 4,000 lines of resolution, typically in less than two minutes per slide.
The ProPalette 7000 also supports a wide variety of positive and negative 35mm films with custom film tables, including E6, C-41 and Polaroid instant 35mm films. Polaroid instant film -- which you image, develop and mount onto slides right all at your desk in minutes -- is the ideal medium for proofing your slide images and for making last-minute changes to your presentation.
Achieve image purity with 24-bit color, sharp lines and crisp text.
Together with its large CRT and Polaroid-designed optics, the ProPalette 7000 also features automatic exposure, color balance control, dynamic focus circuitry and 36-bit color depth -- all of which combine to create brilliant 35mm slides. Images from the ProPalette 7000 consistently exhibit accurate colors, smooth ramped backgrounds, straight lines and truly round circles.
Using a native resolution of 4096 horizontal by 2732 vertical lines, small text as well as the finest details are rendered with high definition, even in the corners! The ProPalette 7000 prints in 16.8 million colors, drawing from a palette of 68 billion colors.
Easy to set-up, easy to operate -- makes work seem like fun!
The ProPalette 7000 is fully compatible with Macintosh computers, PCs and compatibles and other platforms, and connects easily to the parallel or SCSI port. It also can be networked with Graphx RasterPlus95 for Windows 95 and Windows NT and with Polaroid Palette for Macintosh software.
For extra convenience, the standard 35mm camera back automatically pre-loads and counts each frame, and rewinds at the end of the film (with an option for early rewind). The camera includes a 20-character by 2-line interactive LCD front panel display that indicates a wide range of system set-up and status data.
An Adobe Photoshop export plug-in module enables the imaging of Photoshop files, as well as files from other image processing packages, producing continuous tone images quickly and simply.
Built for today and tomorrow.
The ProPalette 7000 is designed with 4 MB DRAM and 512k flash memory. With its flash firmware you have on-site access to future upgrades and product enhancements, so system downtime is virtually eliminated.
The ProPalette 7000 is an extremely affordable color film recorder, giving it the highest price/performance rating in the business. And as current color film recorder users know, once you start using it you'll soon discover many more reasons and opportunities to use the brilliance of the 35mm color slides for your presentation.
