Leica Application Suite: Montage

Leica LAS Montage allows extended depth of field (EDF) and visually enhances focus for the most demanding imaging conditions.

The LAS Montage module works with Leica microscopes and digital cameras to automatically capture a stack of images at different focus positions.

These images are then combined into a single Extended Depth of Focus (EDF) image that shows a single image with all in focus parts of the stack.

Z-stack gallery allows a specific image to be quickly located and easily viewed. In conjunction with a microscope or stereomicroscope equipped with motorized focus the acquisition is completely automatic. Manual operation is also possible.

Multiple EDF algorithms allows for faster, higher quality extended depth of focus images. User editing controls provide the best in final image quality.

Leica Application Suite: Interactive Measurement

Leica LAS Interactive Measurement allows an extensive range of measurement types with uncompromised convenience.

The LAS Interactive Measurement module, fully integrated with Leica microscopes and digital cameras, allows the user to trace around objects with adjustable tracing lines, identify areas of significance and derive measurement parameters such as length, area, angle or perimeter.

Measurements can be applied to one image or multiple images to determine statistical trends. Each measurement can be labeled with a parameter name, sequence number, value and comment for quick, easy analysis.

Leica Application Suite: Extended Annotation

Leica Application Suite: Extended Annotation

Leica LAS Extended Annotation allows images to be embellished with text, graphics and measurements to clearly communicate your ideas.

The LAS Extended Annotation module integrated with Leica Microsystems’ automated microscopes, digital cameras and software, allows graphic elements and text to be added to images.

Important features of the image can be highlighted using various fonts, colors and shapes.

Annotations may be added as a separate layer to the original file so the original remains intact or copied as a group and used as a template. The annotations increase and decrease proportionally with the selected image.

Leica Application Suite: MultiTime Movie Recorder

Leica LAS MultiTime captures time-lapse and movie images.

The LAS MultiTime module integrated with Leica microscopes and digital cameras automatically captures images at set time intervals such as seconds, minutes, hours or days.

And, for a specific time period, select the number of images may be acquired. Images are stored on the hard drive at the specified times and may be easily and quickly retrieved as an individual image or as an AVI movie file.

Alternatively capture the live image and stream directly to the hard dirve for later replay as a Movie.

Leica Application Suite: Reticule

Leica Application Suite: Reticule

Leica LAS Reticule allows your own reticules shown on the live image for easy comparison.

The LAS Reticule provides electronic overlays or permanent records of customized reticules on real-time images during routine inspections for point counting measurements and comparisons.

A range of reticule styles, such as lines, shapes, texts and images; cross hairs; and counting grids can be easily displayed, adjusted, stored and recalled.

Leica Application Suite: Multistep

Leica Application Suite: Multifocus

Leica LAS Multifocus creates a single sharp image, effectively extending the depth of focus of the microscope or stereomicroscope.

The LAS Multifocus module works with Leica microscopes and digital cameras to automatically capture a stack of images at different focus positions.

These images are then combined into a single Extended Depth of Focus image that shows in a single image all in-focus parts of the stack.

Z-stack gallery allows a specific image to be quickly located and easily viewed. In conjunction with a microscope or stereomicroscope equipped with motorized focus the acquisition is completely automatic. Manual operation is also possible.
