Motic DM-143

The DM-143 series consists of 2 different digital imaging chip options as well as 2 different bases.

Denoted by the letter "W" for manual white balnce, the DMW microscopes feature a multiple output CCD imaging chip, while the DM units have a high-resolution Digital-Only imaging sensor inside the head of the zoom microscope.

There are 2 bases available, a small-footprint N2GG and a larger FBGG base for those applications that need more space.

Therefore, there are 4 unique models available:

Motic DS-2

When people think about microscopy in schools, they often think about prepared slides, staining and high-powered magnifications. With a normal compound microscope, you can not look at macro objects such as Bugs, Minerals, Cloth, etc. This is where the DS-2 comes in.

The DS-2 is a digital macroscope designed according to a "wish-list" of features drafted by teachers in the US. This microscope can be used in Geography lessons to look at minerals and fossils, in Chemistry lessons to observe and record simple experiments as well as in the more traditional Biology environment. Coupled with a built-in digital camera chip, the DS-2 transmits live streaming images to a computer through a normal USB connection. With the included Motic application software, any image can easily be quantified, measured, edited, recorded and much more.

Motic DS-300

Light-weight, easy to use and versatile, the DS-300 takes a 2-in-1 approach to microscopy. Use it with the included camera attached or replace the camera with the eyepiece and use the microscope as a completely portable unit.

Battery powered LED top and bottom illumination with dimming control ensure proper illumination for prepared slides, macro objects or even liquid samples.

Change the included stages and turn the DS-300 from a microscope to a macroscope thanks to its large range of magnification freely selectable from 20X to 100X. All optics are professional coated glass.
