Real Time HD Telepathology Video Imaging now available!

A recent breakthrough in technology has just made it possible to transmit in REAL TIME 60 frames per second, 1920 x 1080 P HD color video and audio across internet lines. Using a high performance custom designed 3 chip HD video camera and proprietary codec, it is now possible to consult, teach and record images in true real time from one site to another. As long as your internet upload speed is 1.5 megabytes or faster, perfect image streaming with sound is now possible. Unlike software products similar to Go-To-Meeting ™ or WebEx ™, there is no more pixelization, image jerking or frame lagging. Perfect color and clarity of even 100x oil immersion images is now possible in real time.

This new system has to be seen to be believed! For years this capability was simply not possible. Thanks to the advent of MPEG4 technology and a recent break through in synchronization, anyone that can use a TV remote control and focus a microscope can instantly share with others EXACTLY what they are seeing. Using 42 inch monitors as the display, not only is the microscope image larger and clearer than seen through the microscope, but multiple people can all see at once. Using existing microscopes this 'C' mountable camera performs like no other product on the market. An optional motorized macro lens and lighted copy stand provide realtime macro photography of gross samples, Petri dishes or test tubes.

Multiheaded microscopes truly will become a thing of the past. Any best yet . . . this system does not require a computer! Just plug it to your internet connection and make a telephone call to the receiving end. Almost no limit to the viewing sites as well as multiple send receive sites are available.

Included is a conference quality remote controlled camera for transmitting pictures of people interacting with the system. All in one speaker and microphone unit assure audio is clear and crisp with echo canceling technology.

Prelude Light Source

Overview

Prelude Light Source

The new Prelude white light source, is an adjustable LED white light source for stereomicroscopes. It has a unique custom low profile design 120mm x 120mm square. Designed to provide extraordinary reflected light illumination for very difficult to illuminate samples. Generates soft, glare free lighting where all other illumination techniques have failed. 20,000+ hour LED life. Patent pending.

Designed originally for Drosophila fly hair illumination, the Prelude light source can also be used effectively with embryos in solution and other biological or industrial samples. Use the Prelude light when all other light sources fail to provide the perfect illumination.

PathScan Enabler IV

Overview

PathScan Enabler IV Histology Slide Scanner

The PathScan Enabler IV is designed to allow scanning of an entire whole mounted histology sample attached to standard 1 x 3 inch cover slipped glass slide. The PathScan Enabler IV solves low power, large field of view, high resolution imaging problems.

This fourth generation low cost histology scanner scans an area of 1.42 x 0.85 inches (36.14 x 21.59 mm), resulting in useable images up to 10,248 x 6,120 pixels, uninterpolated. File size can be as large as 188 megabytes. Produces image files which can be saved in a variety of formats including TIFF, PICT, BMP, GIF, etc. Compatible with PC Windows & Mac based computers.

This instrument will not replace a microscope and digital camera. It is designed to compliment those instruments by doing something they cannot. Namely, capture an ENTIRE histological sample without having to stitch it together. The resulting picture will have the image quality of a 5.0x objective.

Conventional microscopes equipped with low power objectives and digital cameras typically cannot capture samples larger than 6 mm in diameter. The PathScan Enabler IV captures specimens as large as 36 mm in diameter! Better yet, there is no uneven illumination or out of focus sample edges, as can be the case with traditional low power image capture techniques.
