The Leica SCN400 slide scanner makes work faster, more reliable, and flexible. Scanning and digitizing slides is accomplished in amazing speed. The system’s patented dynamic focus tracking enables the scanner to not only be faster, but reveal more of a specimen’s details. This can reduce the number of failed scans as compared to conventional focusing.

Time Saving
With the Leica SL801 autoloader accessory, 384 slides can be scanned automatically with one-button operation. Additionally the user has the freedom to scan all slides in one batch using up to eight different protocols. For even more time savings, the user can load all 384 slides into the Leica SL801 at one time

Leica SCN400 slide scanner client is a flexible, fast software package that enables the user to scan each slide with the exact scanning procedure needed. Additionally, it allows one-button operation, which makes it easy to perform repetitive scanning runs.


From Overview to Detail, Quickly With One Scan
The Leica SCN400 slide scanner provides images of up to 40x magnification – and the average scanning time for 20x magnification is only 100 seconds.

The revolutionary dynamic focus speeds the scanning process of the Leica SCN400. The user saves time by eliminating time-consuming pre-mapping. And, dynamic focus provides a pin sharp image of great detail. This patented focusing method minimizes the risk of failed scans – and again saves time for the user.
