Standard Specifications

VIEWING HEADS
Model MA815 is the Siedentopf-type binocular head and MA816 is the trinocular head for camera integration. Each head has the eyetubes inclined at 30 degrees with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 53mm – 75mm. An 80/20 beamsplitter for the trinocular tube can be engaged for photo-microscopy; 100% to eyetubes or 80% to phototube & 20% to the eyetube. The optional Ergonomic Viewing Head has the inclination adjustable from 10 to 50 degrees to fit any user.

EYEPIECES
10X Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.22 are standard, and 15X and 20X eyepieces are also available as an option. A Super Widefield High Eyepoint 10X focusable eyepiece that accepts 25mm reticules is also available.

OBJECTIVE CHANGER
The smooth-operating, ball bearing mounted, quintuple nosepiece provides effortless objective changes.

OBJECTIVES
Meiji Techno offers an all new assortment of Infinity Corrected Semi Apochromat objectives for Fluorescence Microscopy and U.Plan Objectives for Brightfield/Darkfield, Phase and Polarized work.

STAGE
Ceramic coated flat top stage measures 191mm x 126mm with 100mm x 100mm x-y travel. Ergonomically positioned left or right-handed coaxial drop down controls. Available with motorized components.

CONDENSER
Abbe condenser NA 1.25 with iris in dovetail mount is included. Optional condenders include a Zernike Phase Contrast Condenser NA 1.25 with iris in dovetail mount and darkfield condenser with dovetail mount.

ILLUMINATION
A powerful 6V, 30W halogen lamp provides enhanced image quality and brightness for the observation of specimens. The standard Modular Six Position Epi-fluorescent illuminator employs a 100 watt mercury lamp and standard power supply. The optional Opti-Quip lamphouse includes a fully adjustable power supply that accommodates various Mercury, Xenon and hybrid lamp combinations.

Optional Accessories

PRIOR LUMEN 200 ILLUMINATOR
Available upon request, the Prior Lumen 200 is a powerful, cost effective alternative to standard 100 Watt mercury and halogen lamphouses. The combination of Prior’s proprietary 2,000 hour life, 200 watt metal arc lamp and two or three meter liquid light guide provide unrivalled versatility and illumination power.
Designed to mount remotely via a two or three meter liquid light guide, the Lumen 200 eliminates heat transfer to the microscope, minimizing thermal drift and aiding image stability in long term experiments.

PHOTOMICROGRAPHY
For photomicrography, the CC1400C Peltier Cooled CCD camera offers outstanding image quality and value for industrial and scientific imaging applications. This model is ideal in low-light conditions and where high dynamic range is required.
Another option, the CC1400UC, is an ultra-sensitive 1.4 megapixel camera that was built in response to customer requests for a cost-effective low light fluorescence solution. It employs the well-known Sony ICX285 imager with a large 2/3” diagonal sensor, and is available in either color or monochrome. Providing near perfect color reproduction for a wide range of applications without the high price associated with similar cameras, the CC1400UC is an excellent complement to the CC1400C.
The MA151/35/20 “C” mount adapter allows mounting of these cameras to the MT6300H trinocular tube.
