Instec Heating and Cooling Stages available at Meyer Instruments, Inc.

HCS302/HCS302XY

Instec's HCS302/HCS302XY offers a temperature controlled environment that is an ideal choice for optical thermal microscopy and other applications requiring optical access to the sample. Top and bottom dual pane windows on the HCS302/HCS302XY stage are removable and exchangeable to meet a range of spectroscopic needs. The stage can be mounted vertically, allowing horizontal beam access to the sample chamber. The HCS302/HCS302XY is large enough to accommodate a variety of samples, including electro-optic devices and standard 25mm x 75 mm microscope slides. An inner thermal cover is also included for work requiring ultra-high temperature stability and uniformity.

HCS402/HCS402XY

Instec's HCS402/HCS402XY microscope hot and cold stage features a dual heater design which virtually eliminates vertical temperature gradients in the sample chamber. This makes the HCS402/HCS402XY temperature controlled environment an ideal choice for thicker samples or when the best available temperature uniformity is necessary. Top and bottom dual pane windows in the HCS402/HCS402XY stage are removeable and exchangeable to meet a range of spectroscopic needs. The stage can be mounted vertically for applications requiring horizontal beam access to the sample chamber. The interior of the HCS402/HCS402XY is large enough to accommodate a variety of samples, including electro-optic devices and standard 25 mm x 75 mm microscope slides.

HCS302GXY

The Instec HCS302GXY features a gas-tight sample chamber which can be gas purged to prevent condensation or to make measurements under a controlled atmosphere and at a set temperature.Top and bottom dual pane windows on the HCS302GXY stage are removable and exchangeable to meet a range of spectroscopic needs. The stage can be mounted vertically, allowing horizontal beam access to the sample chamber. An inner thermal cover is also included for work requiring ultra-high temperature stability.

C100W / C300W / C500W CHILLERS

• Recirculating chillers with ice water compartments provide rapid cooling of sample area to near 1°C (depending on model) • All chiller models can be used for frame cooling • C300W, C500W, and C610W require the FVC9 coolant flow control system for sample cooling using the mK2000 out2 port • C300W, C500W, and C610W require the FVC1 coolant flow control system for frame cooling of thermoelectric stages using the mK2000 out3 port

RHC01 RELATIVE HUMIDITY CONTROLLER

• INSTEC's RHC01 Relative Humidity Controller is designed to augment environmental control of chambers to extend experimental capability • Combine temperature control and relative humidity control within the same stage and the same experience • Pairs seamlessly with the TS102GXY, HCS621GXY, or HS1200GXY, and many other stages with sealed chambers • Test and characterize dependence of chemical properties, surface features, sample behavior, and device function on relative humidity • Precision control of relative humidity from 4% to 91% within sealed chambers with volumes of up to 2000cc • Recycling desiccant system dries ambient air • Continuous operation possible for days, weeks, and months at a time with easy refillable water bottle • Can be used as standalone humidity generator and controller or with INSTECAPP software to record and export sensor data • Sensor Type: combined temperature and humidity digital capacitance sensor • One sensor monitors the humidity of the air delivered from the controller • Another sensor monitors the humidity of the air in the chamber and connect via a feedback loop to the controller • Does not require an expensive dry air supply • Optional inert gas regulator to minimize air and oxygen supplied to the chamber • Interactive touchscreen display to control all features
