Prior Scientific ProScan II

H107 Inverted Stage

The H107 ProScan™ II stage adapts to virtually any inverted microscope or optical system. It allows you to perform scanning using a very broad range of sample holders, including microtitre plates, slide holders, petri dishes, well plates, flasks, haemocytometers and metallurgical sample holders. This stage offers a unique combination of precision and flexibility. The H107 ProScan™ II stage incorporates the patented - Intelligent Scanning Technology. In conjunction with extensive testing, Intelligent Scanning Technology (IST) allows each stage to be pre-programmed with a unique set of operating characteristics particular to that stage to ensure optimum performance. IST (also available on H101A, H117 and H138A models) allows the ProScan™ II controller to make any required adjustments to maintain superior orthogonally and metric accuracy.





H117 Flat Top Inverted Stage

The H117 ProScan™ II stage is ideal for all high precision biomedical and material science scanning operations, specific attention was given to designing the H117 to assist the researcher who is doing prolonged live cell studies. By mounting all of the drive components below the top plate, the H117 provides easy access for micromanipulators, environmental chambers and robotic loaders. The stage allows for scanning using a very broad range of sample holders, including microtitre plates, slide holders, petri dishes, well plates, flasks, haemocytometers and metallurgical sample holders. The H117 ProScan™ II stage series has a completely flat top for easy access, and includes the patented Intelligent Scanning Technology (IST). In conjunction with extensive testing, Intelligent Scanning Technology allows each stage to be pre-programmed with a unique set of operating characteristics particular to that stage to ensure optimum performance. IST (also available on H101A and H107 models) allows the ProScan™ II controller to make any required adjustments to maintain superior orthogonality and metric accuracy.

H101A Upright Stage

The H101A ProScan™II stage is adaptable to virtually any microscope or optical system. The H101A stage enables the user to increase labor efficiency by automatically scanning your specimens and storing points for later recollection and inspection with unmatched repeatability. The H101A is ideal for scanning or inspection of slides, microtitre trays, semiconductor wafers, or metallurgical specimens in any sort of pattern, including raster, snake and random patterns. The H101A ProScan™II stage also incorporates the patented - Intelligent Scanning Technology. In conjunction with extensive testing, Intelligent Scanning Technology (IST) allows each stage to be pre-programmed with a unique set of operating characteristics particular to that stage to ensure optimum performance. IST (also available on H107 and H117 models) allows the ProScan™II controller to make any required adjustments to maintain superior orthogonally and metric accuracy.

ES101 Z Only Stage Systems

The OptiScan™ II ES101 system provides focus only (Z) movement. The ES101 includes the OptiScan™ II controller, focus drive and digipot. The OptiScan™ II system is ideal for applications such as fluorescent image data acquisition, slide scanning, petri dish analysis, metallurgical analysis and Z only (focus) applications including stereo logy.











IS102 Xy Stage Systems

The OptiScan™ II IS102 Stage System provides X and Y movement and includes the OptiScan™ II controller, XY motorized stage, and joystick. The OptiScan™ II system is ideal for applications such as fluorescent image data acquisition, slide scanning, petri dish analysis, metallurgical analysis and Z only (focus) applications including stereology.

Prior Scientific Robot Sample Loaders

PL100/200 Slide Loader

The PL-100/PL-200 Slide Loaders are advanced systems for automatic slide handling in a variety of microscope applications. The PL-200 model is designed for 1x3 slides and accommodates up to 200 slides that are housed in four removable slide racks, each of which holds up to fifty slides. The PL-100 model is designed for 2x3 slides and is capable of handling up to 100 slides(as shown in photo below) which are housed in two racks of fifty. Sensors on the loader monitor the presence of the slide racks so the system can intelligently respond when racks are changed in the middle of a run for example. Installation of a rack on the loader initiates a unique slide detection system which automatically identifies the location of the slides. Prior has optimized both to provide the highest productivity with a complete system capable of performing load/unload cycles in as little as 24s. The units can be used with existing microscopes simply by adding the appropriate Prior scanning stage.

PLW20 Well Plate Loader System

Adaptable to most modern inverted microscopes, the simple, rugged and compact PLW20 provides three independently controlled and encoded axes for rotational, vertical and horizontal movement. Combine the PLW20 with a Prior ProScan stage for your inverted microscope and you have a system designed specifically for high content screening applications with a capacity of 20 well plates (two racks of 10 each). The two stainless steel racks provided with each loader accommodate covered and uncovered well plates up to 19mm in height. Sensors monitor the presence of well plate racks so that the system can be programmed to respond when racks are changed in the middle of a run. Additionally, the DLL provided with the PLW20 is compatible with both ProScan II and ProScan III stage and focus controllers.
