Motic SMZ-168

The SMZ-168 Series of stereomicroscopes incorporates a zoom ratio of 1:6.7, one of the industry's largest, with a standard working distance of 113mm inside a Greenough optical stereo system. Moreover, the standard system provides a maximum magnification of 50X [with standard 10X eyepieces] and guaranteed parfocality throughout the magnifications.

Designed for long term usage, the SMZ-168 is available in both a 35° and 60° observation angle format to fit the application and environment setup. Assisting in fatigue preventation is the high eyepoint system of the standard 10X eyepieces, which allows the user to assume a more comfortable posture when using the microscope and eyeglass wearers to observe without the fear of scratching their lenses. The standard eyepieces offer a field of view fo 30.7mm to cover more of sample in less time.

Motic FBGG LED

The Motic FBGG LED stand is the LED upgrade of the existing FBGG stand for the SMZ-168 series of stereomicroscopes. The stand is equipped with individual 3W LED bulbs for incident and transmitted illumination, which can be used in conjunction or separately. Both the incident and transmitted illumination's intensity can be adjusted from 0% to 100% via the linear intensity control located on the right side of the stand.

The FBGG LED's transmitted illumination is an indirect illumination to avoid the hot spot problems of the other LED stands when used with a digital camera. While the incident illumination is able to be adjusted from an angle of 0° to 33° with a working field of 50mm. Both operate in the 5500K colour temperature range for smooth and comfortable usage.

Motic GM-168

The GM-168's standard 50X magnification, one of the largest in the industry, permits you to see those hairline inclusions in the standard format, whereas other systems must add an auxiliary objective to achieve the same image. Complementing the magnification is the 6.7 : 1 zoom ratio, which allows the type of inspection to switch from finishing inspection to identifying the imperfection within the gem without the need to refocus thanks to the GM-168's parfocality. Furthermore, the GM-168's 113mm working distance offers you the choice of operating with the standard wire gem holder or a pair of jeweller's tweezers without the worry of contacting the optics or affecting the focus.

Motic K400

Employing a Common Main Objective [CMO] optical system, the K400 produces flat, crisp, and true colour representations for the user over a long and continuous period. The CMO system benefits the user with the potential of accessory addition without sacrificing optical quality, which makes the K400 suitable for inspection applications.

The various contrast methods offer endless expandability of the K400 without the need for purchasing a new microscope or modification. Therefore, one problem can be examined in two to three different methods with one microscope without the extra space required for another microscope. An ideal option for universities or laboratories with limited space.

The K401 expands on the benefits of a Common Main Objective [CMO] optical system by integrating a Plan Achromat objective to further reveil information within the field of view. Images on the edge of the field of view appear flat instead of curved, as in other systems, which makes the K401 ideal for inspection and photomicrography.

With the longest standard working distance [110mm], the K401 merges the benefit of the Greenough system"s long working distance with the optical clarity of the CMO system for a more versatile solution for numerous applications. The K401"s working distance can be further increased [up to 312mm] through the use of Achromat auxiliary objectives.

Motic K500

Offering the benefits of a Common Main Objective [CMO] infinity optical system at a Greenough price, the K500 is the ideal choice for users wanting the flatness and expandability of a CMO but only possessing a Greenough budget.

The K500 utilises a 5-step magnification changer with industry standard stops at 0.64X, 1.0X, 1.6X, 2.5X, and 4.0X for convenience in converting from existing systems for inspection and observation applications. The system can be converted from a simple optical inspection/observation system into a documentation and analysis station with the attachment of the 1500.3 Video/Photomicrography optical bridge and the user's choice of documentation [photomicrography or digital].

Motic K700

Equipped standard with the user friendly function of zoom, the K700 offers the convenience of 5.2:1 zoom ratio with the optical clarity of the Common Main Objective [CMO] optical system. The combination of the K700"s optical zoom with its variety of accessories expands the system into different fields based upon the user"s selection. The system can be expanded up to a maximum magnification of 198X or a maximum field of view of 127.8mm, all dependent on your need.

The K700 is available in two mounting formats [pole mount with built in incident illumination and pole mount with no built in illumination] for adaptation to your system instead of your system adapting to the microscope. Outfitting the K700 with one of the optional boom stands offers the zoom convenience of continuously zoom in and out on large specimens in perfect parfocality and optical clarity to investigate a specific area within a general location.

Motic SFC-11

Motic SFC-11

The SFC-11 is the ideal stereomicroscope for both educational and industrial applications. Inclined at 45°, usage of the SFC-11 stereomicroscope is comfortable and fatigue free. Available in three turret magnification combinations [1X,2X; 1X,3X; and 2X,4X], thus providing a choice on magnification needed for the application. The standard working distance of 95mm is sufficient for majority of applications without the need for addition of auxiliary objectives.
